Thank you God...........

………for new babies, relationships, kids who need their parents, parents who need their kids, kids going to college, in-laws, out-laws (!?), missionaries, church families, Your confirmation, Jesus, parents, kids, tears, happiness, joy, sadness, thanksgiving, humility, peace, anxiety, heartache, restoration.

Thank you God for the myriad of emotions that we experience at any given moment in time. Thank you for the times that you send to us that make us who we are, that strengthen our faith in You. Thank you for your sweet peace that lets me know you are there in all things, at all times. Help me Dear God, to remember the words of Isaiah 12 – and praise you – Always!

1 In that day you will say: "I will praise you, O LORD. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me.

2 Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation."

We're MOVING......... !!! Maybe........

It's something I've decided just today. I've decided that I want to quit taking the fish oil and glucosamine tablets that I take each day to keep my joints from hurting so bad. But in order to do that, I think that I must eat LOTS of fish each day (nothing scientific here - purely speculation). In order to do that, we must move closer to the ocean ...... uhhhhhh, to the beach in fact. (I love the beach!)

Of course, David isn't aware of this change in zip code just yet....... Maybe I'll just have to make a change in my diet without the stress of packing and moving....... After all, we do live near a lake.

Catfish, bluegill, crappie....... Well, alright. I guess that will have to do........ :{

Summer Fun!

We recently went to Dauphin Island for vacation. I LOVE the Gulf Coast, the ocean, the waves, the sand....... wait, maybe not so much the sand but I could adjust easily enough.

I love the fact that nearly the entire Sprigg clan was on the same piece of sand for 7 days. And boy did we have fun!!!

Sadly, this picture is the day after some of the kids had to leave. Why is it the 'family picture' is such a dreaded event...... it looks to me like we were all having some fun!! It's actually our last night on the beach, and NO ONE wanted to leave. The games of geezer golf just kept going and going and going ......
